How to record reaction videos on iPhone
On iPhone, open Reakt, import a saved video or image, choose a reaction layout and record using your camera and microphone. Save the combined video to Photos when you are happy with the result.
Have the source file ready on your phone before starting. Reakt works with imported media; do not assume that a link to a streaming video is an importable file.
Step by step
Install Reakt
Open the official App Store listing from the download link below. Check the listing for current device and iOS requirements.
Prepare your iPhone
Make room for the source file and exported video. Set your phone on a stable surface, face a light source and choose a quiet place.
Allow recording permissions
Grant camera and microphone access when prompted. Allow the Photos access needed to select your source and save the result.
Import, frame and record
Choose a video, photo or screenshot, select a layout and check the camera framing. Record a short test before making your full reaction.
Save and upload
Review the result and export it to Photos. Open TikTok, Instagram or YouTube to upload the saved video.
If your camera or export does not work
Check Reakt’s permissions in iPhone Settings and confirm that storage is available. Try a shorter recording to isolate the problem. The support page explains permissions, exports and purchases.
How Reakt fits
Reakt combines imported source content with your recorded reaction on iPhone. Choose picture-in-picture, stacked, side-by-side or green-screen layouts and export a video you can share.
