Your privacy

Privacy Policy

Effective September 11, 2026

Reakt is designed to create reaction videos without an account. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, videos, camera recordings, microphone recordings, advertising identifier, or precise location through the app.

Your content stays on your device

Reakt accesses your camera and microphone only after you grant permission. You choose which photos or videos to import. Imported media and reaction recordings are processed on your iPhone. Reakt does not upload that content to our servers. A finished video leaves the app only when you choose to save it to Photos or share it using the iOS share sheet.

Anonymous app analytics

Reakt sends limited product-interaction events to Mixpanel so we can understand whether features work and improve the app. Examples include completing onboarding, starting a recording, exporting a video, opening the share sheet, viewing the Pro screen, and completing a purchase. These events use a random app-installation identifier and include the app version and iOS platform. They do not contain your identity or the content of your photos, videos, recordings, or messages. We do not use this information for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Website measurement

When configured, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page and guide views and clicks to the App Store. Events include the current page, the first page in your browsing session, the referring service when available, campaign labels and a broad device category. Google Analytics can also provide approximate country and device reports. It may use browser cookies; this website stores first-page attribution in session storage. Website events do not include the content of support or waitlist forms. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by disabling this measurement. Without an analytics configuration, no website analytics events are sent to Google.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Reakt receives only the purchase status needed to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your payment-card details, Apple ID password, or Apple ID email address. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy.

Optional contact outside the app

Reakt does not require an account or ask for contact information inside the app. If you voluntarily email support, join the Android waitlist, or open our optional Google feedback form, that communication takes place through your email provider or Google Forms. We use only the details you choose to submit to reply, send a requested launch update, or review your feedback. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Children

Reakt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your controls

You control which media you import and when a finished video is saved or shared. You can change Reakt’s Camera, Microphone, and Photos permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Removing the app removes its locally stored settings; videos already saved to Photos remain under your control in the Photos app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Reakt evolves. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
