Privacy Policy

ReactRecorder is designed to create reaction videos without an account. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, videos, camera recordings, microphone recordings, advertising identifier, or precise location through the app.

Your content stays on your device

ReactRecorder accesses your camera and microphone only after you grant permission. You choose which photos or videos to import. Imported media and reaction recordings are processed on your iPhone. ReactRecorder does not upload that content to our servers. A finished video leaves the app only when you choose to save it to Photos or share it using the iOS share sheet.

Anonymous app analytics

ReactRecorder sends limited product-interaction events to Mixpanel so we can understand whether features work and improve the app. Examples include completing onboarding, starting a recording, exporting a video, opening the share sheet, viewing the Pro screen, and completing a purchase. These events use a random app-installation identifier and include the app version and iOS platform. They do not contain your identity or the content of your photos, videos, recordings, or messages. We do not use this information for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. ReactRecorder receives only the purchase status needed to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your payment-card details, Apple ID password, or Apple ID email address. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy.

Optional contact outside the app

ReactRecorder does not require an account or ask for contact information inside the app. If you voluntarily email support, join the Android waitlist, or open our optional Google feedback form, that communication takes place through your email provider or Google Forms. We use only the details you choose to submit to reply, send a requested launch update, or review your feedback. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Children

ReactRecorder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your controls

You control which media you import and when a finished video is saved or shared. You can change ReactRecorder’s Camera, Microphone, and Photos permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Removing the app removes its locally stored settings; videos already saved to Photos remain under your control in the Photos app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ReactRecorder evolves. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
